Solution Living was concieved from the idea that you can live well by being
a conscious consumer by selecting environmentally responsible products. These
products need not look inexpensive, smell undesirable or perform poorly. Its
about choosing a better life and one that goes beyond you as an individual.
We were delighted to be chosen to create the identity, packaging and website
for Solution Living.
where
we started.
Right from the beginning we knew that we
wanted a clean identity that conveyed the essence of ongoing sustainability.
Our sketchbook was full of directions that touched on this
aspect but one direction stood above the rest. The idea that the
letter 'S' from Solution formed an never ending path inspired by
the nature of recycling became our focus. This shape was refined
to contain two elements, inner and outer sections that crossed over
and become one. The identity was born and we were excited about launching
it.
how it evolved.
We worked closely with Solution Living on
all aspects of packaging and advertising. Print costs and processes
were a big consideration as the brand had to remain true to its core
values. A palette of pastel colours were selected as the base of
each product to work in contrast with rich photographic elements. The
packaging was complete and the products were photographed where secondary
elements were added and the framework of the e-commerce website
was designed. The site was launched late last year supported by a
print based advertising campaign, the brand is growing and site purchases
are increasing.
